Geocoded Disasters (GDIS) Dataset Data Assistance

A month ago, when I tried to download the GDIS dataset through Earthdata Download, the software kept prompting me to log in before downloading. However, after logging in, it kept redirecting me to the login page (https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/earthdata-download-callback), and I was unable to download the data. Recently, when I tried to download the GDIS dataset through the Columbia University database, all the download links eventually redirected me to the following URL: https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/catalog/sedac-ciesin-sedac-pend-gdis-1.00. This URL shows that I do not have access. Could you please advise on a solution?

Hi have you been able to resolve the matter by now? I also encountered a similar issue, when trying to download the dataset via :https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/catalog/esdis-ciesin-sedac-pend-gdis-1.00 . I get over and over the following error message that says:

Data Access
An Earthdata Login is required before users can download data or use selected tools that comprise NASA's Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS).


Has anybody encountered similar issues?
