OCSSW Install Error - "unsupported Mac machine = x86_64"

I am trying to install the OCSSW processors. I have tried it using both the SeaDAS GUI and the command line (following these instructions: https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/resources/docs/tutorials/notebooks/oci-ocssw-install/#setup & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvyxNYY_C4A&list=PLf60TttfDm30SjrRVBSXptm0tGRax5fKq&index=5).

I am receiving this error: "unsupported Mac machine = x86_64"

I downloaded SeaDAS 9.2.0 using seadas_9.2.0_mac_x64_installer.dmg

I am using a Mac with Sequoia 15.6.1 with Intel chips.

NASA does not allow Intel Macs, since they are too old to support. I had to remove Mac Intel support on May 16 2025. The last tags with Intel support are:

T2025.9
V2025.1

These tags or older willl work for you, but yo will need an old installer. Download these two files in the same dir:

https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/manifest/tags/T2025.9/bin_macosx_intel/manifest.py
https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/manifest/tags/T2025.9/bin_macosx_intel/install_ocssw

Then you can install any tag you like assuming it is old enough.

Thank you for the help - I was able to get OCSSW l2gen working after using the tags you listed.
