Suomi-NPP VIIRS Level-Regional Regional 11μm Day/Night Sea Surface Temperature (SST) Data, geophysical folder question

Hello all,

Regarding any file taken from Suomi-NPP VIIRS Level-Regional Regional 11μm Day/Night Sea Surface Temperature (SST) Data, version R2016.2.

I was wondering how exactly I could use the information contained within the geophysical_data folder.

I attempted to load the sst file to plot in python, a plot of sst for a location, but I just couldn't figure out the right way to interpert the data from the file.
