Hello, I used to search granules on the "ASTGTM / ASTER Digital Elevation Model V003".
Since a few days, this DEM model is not available anymore and the following URL is returning a 404 error: "https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/catalog/lpcloud-astgtm-003".
Example: "https://cmr.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/granules.json?short_name=ASTGTM&version=003"
Is it because V004 shall be used instead? And, by the way, what is the recommended DEM model to use for a global world coverage with 1 arc second spacing? My main use case is to enrich .gpx files with elevation data.

Re: ASTER DEM V003 not available
@vcottineau_earthdata There was an issue with the Earthdata search and the issues you were experiencing this morning have been resolved. I just tried an ASTER GDEM search and download was successful.
We offer several different DEM datasets. All of which can be downloaded from Earthdata Search or AppEEARS. If you would like the data clipped and mosaicked to your study area, then I recommend using AppEEARS.
Please read our DEM_Comparison_Guide to learn more about the datasets to decide which will be right for your work.
Access source data: NASADEM, SRTM, and ASTER GDEM source data can be accessed directly from NASA Earthdata Cloud. Detailed guides and tutorials can be found at the LP DAAC Data Resources GitHub.
You can find additional information on LP DAAC datasets here: https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/centers/lp-daac
Please try again and let us know if it is still a problem.
