The ALOS-2 data currently available from ASF are ScanSAR (60 m and 100 m resolution) images. To date, only selected regions globally have been received, and this does not include Turkey/Syria.

You can purchase the ALOS-2 data you are interested in from PASCO, which is the commercial distributor for JAXA. Information on this option is available on the PASCO website. PLATFORM is the search interface used for identifying and ordering ALOS-2 data.

Thank you.

Thanks Bill. Let me ask a related question.

I have a site in central Greece (lat 39.60 lon 22.15) of interest. Would there be any L-band available at a smaller resolution for this location?

Hi Robb,
High-resolution ALOS-2 L-band SAR products are not available from ASF. Current plans are for ASF to serve only as a mirror archive for the ScanSAR products.

L-band SAR data from the recently launched NISAR satellite mission should be available from ASF beginning in early 2026. ASF will serve as the NISAR data hub, and all products will be accessible through both the standard ASF discovery services and Earthdata Search.

Thanks.
