Problem with downloading IMERG data
Problem with downloading IMERG data
Hello, I am downloading the IMERG- Final Run, half-hourly data (2000-12-04 to 2000-12-31). But there is an issue with downloading. It provided the links, but when I start downloading, it gives this error for all links: "Sorry, 3B-HHR.MS.MRG.3IMERG.20001204-S103000-E105959.0630.V07B.HDF5.SUB.nc4 is not available for downloading"

Re: Problem with downloading IMERG data
Dear User,
Our team has investigated your inquiry and found no issues with the data on our end. Could you please retry your download again? If you still continue to experience issues with downloading the dataset, then could you please provide more details about how you are downloading the data (wget, curl, python, etc.), and any errors you receive? Additionally, if you are running concurrent downloads, we please ask you limit the number to two downloads at a time.
Since we are not certain if your issue is caused by unstable authentication with windows wget, or server load, we also recommend trying to use a generated token to download your data. This would be a simpler approach. Please also limit the concurrent download jobs to no more than two using this method. Here are instructions on generating a token:
Acquire a token from https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov/ and following the instructions here https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov/documentation/for_users/user_token
Navigate to the directory where the subset text file is located and with the list of subset url's:
wget --content-disposition --header "Authorization:Bearer paste_here_your_token_here" -i "your_file_with_subset_urls_here"
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Regards,
