e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov MEASURES is empty
I've logged into the Earthdata search website first and checked the link: https://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/MEASURES/. However. the directory is empty. I usually download SRTMv3 data from there, here is an example: https://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/MEASURES/SRTMGL1.003/2000.02.11/N41W112.SRTMGL1.hgt.zip. Any idea is welcome!

Hello @zxdawn The LP DAAC is in the process of moving all of our data products to the cloud. Once a dataset is available in the cloud, it will be removed from the LP DAAC Data Pool. The eventual goal being to retire the on-premise service. Please see the following news announcement: https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/alerts-outages/lp-daac-discontinues-data-pool-distribution-aster-gdem-measures-community where it was announced that these data were removed from the LP DAAC Data Pool a few months ago. For continued access to this dataset please see https://doi.org/10.5067/MEASURES/SRTM/SRTMGL1.003 and click on the "Data Access" button to see the tools you can use to access the data currently. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thanks -- Danielle

Will they be moved to a public bucket on aws or will they require EDL credentials? Will you let us know when you complete this migration?

Hi @cmarshak The data do still require EDL credentials. The migration of NASA MEaSUREs products is complete. We will also post an announcement once the entire collection's migration is complete. Be sure to watch: https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/alerts-outages as that is where data alerts, updates, and new releases get posted.

Re: e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov MEASURES is empty
In case it is helpful to others, I wanted to note that I am able to find the same dataset at (e.g.) https://data.lpdaac.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/lp-prod-protected/SRTMGL1.003/N41W112.SRTMGL1.hgt/N41W112.SRTMGL1.hgt.zip, which I assume is the new (migrated) location. Note that the filename (e.g. N41W112.SRTMGL1.hgt) now appears twice in the URL. The same EDL authentication seems to work with this URL.

Hi @elindsey Yes, thank you for mentioning this.
The naming convention for SRTM is the same as before and it has set tiles, so you should be able to form a URL like this:
"https://data.lpdaac.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/lp-prod-protected/SRTMGL3.003/" + hgtLat + hgtLon + ".SRTMGL3.hgt/" + hgtLat + hgtLon+ ".SRTMGL3.hgt.zip"
Example URL:
https://data.lpdaac.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/lp-prod-protected/SRTMGL3.003/N00E109.SRTMGL3.hgt/N00E109.SRTMGL3.hgt.zip
Users will still need to login before they can access the data.
