Are all areas in the TEMPO Field of Regard (FOR) included in each instrument scan?

No. The TEMPO instrument scans east-to-west during daylight hours (~12-18 scans per day, depending on time of year). To maximize data measurements, scans follow available daylight, resulting in early morning scans only covering the east coast of North America and part of the Midwest and in late evening scans only covering the Midwest and west coast of North America. On occasion, TEMPO performs special high-time resolution scans (~5-15 minutes) for calibration, science experiments or disaster monitoring. These scans cover the entire North/South extent of the field of regard but only a small section of the Eart/West field, and sometimes alternate with nominal hourly scanning.
