They are available as part of the level-3 collections. As an example, you can search like this: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/granules?p=C3380709133-OB_CLOUD&pg[0][v]=f&pg[0][id]=AQUA_MODIS*.YR.*&pg[0][gsk]=-start_date&q=modisa*l3*
Re: Yearly MODIS Chl
Your link only points to yearly Chl through 2024. I'm inquiring about the yearly file from 2025.

Re: Yearly MODIS Chl
The link will work to show latest available annual products. A refined version of a product cannot be generated until all inputs have been received. Inputs come from external sources, so usually, refined products can be produced within 90 days, but sometimes receipt of inputs takes longer, which appears to be the case for MODIS Aqua CHL.
Taking a closer look, we can change the above query to see monthly availability, which shows that 2025/Oct was the last monthly product produced. This means we are still waiting for the inputs needed in order to generate 2025/Nov and 2025/Dec. The annual product cannot be produced until the rest of the year's products are able to be generated. Since the ancillary inputs come from external sources, we cannot be sure of an exact time of delivery.
If you are able to use the NRT product, to fill in the data you are missing, it can be found on Earthdata Search as well.
