Unable to download VJ214IMG / VJ214IMG_NRT via LAADS API

Hello,

I am trying to download VIIRS JPSS-2 / NOAA-21 375 m active fire data using the LAADS API, but I cannot retrieve any results for VJ214IMG or VJ214IMG_NRT.

I am using the following endpoint: https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/api/v2/content/archives with parameters similar to:
params = {
"products": "VJ214IMG",
"temporalRanges": "2024-01-01..2024-11-06",
"regions": region_bbox
}

The same workflow works correctly for other VIIRS products, such as VNP14IMG and VJ114IMG but it returns no results for VJ214IMG / VJ214IMG_NRT.

Could you please confirm whether the final JPSS-2 active fire product VJ214IMG is available through the LAADS API, or whether it must be downloaded differently?

The VJ214IMG is not available right now from LAADS web but should be available soon (probably within next couple of days). However, if you need urgently you can access from LP DAAC at:

The VJ214IMG_NRT is available at:

Thank you for your reply. I have a few follow-up questions:
1. Will downloading VJ214IMG from LAADS become available within the next week or will take more? Will there be an announcement when it becomes available?
2. Is there another way to download VJ214IMG through an API since I would like to download historical data as well.
