The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) has released four ECOSTRESS (ECOsystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station) Version 3 Level 2 data products.
The ECOSTRESS instrument acquires thermal infrared measurements at 70-meter spatial resolution. Version 3 introduces an improved cloud mask algorithm (ECO_L2G_CLOUD), a new sea surface temperature (SST) layer, automated geolocation correction (ECO_L2G_LSTE & ECO_L2T_LSTE), and an improved ECO_L2T_STARS product, which provides spatially continuous estimates of NDVI and albedo through multi-sensor fusion of ECOSTRESS, Landsat, and Sentinel-2 observations.
