daymet.ornl.gov is down

Hello, recently I tried to use the R package daymetr which automates the single pixel extraction tool from (https://daymet.ornl.gov/single-pixel/). However, I experienced a timeout error, and the entire website appears to be down.

Nevermind, it is functioning again. In regards to Daymet, I would like some clarification about which functions will or will not be going off line in the future. The statement here (https://github.com/bluegreen-labs/daymetr) made it seem like Daymet would no longer be able to be conveniently downloaded in R, but it is now May and the single pixel tool which the daymetr package uses still seems to be working.
