GIOP on PACE Matchup Rrs Data

by strawdairy » Thu May 21, 2026 7:07 pm America/New_York

Hi Support Team, I am writing to ask how I can apply the IOP models to PACE Rrs data using OCSSW. I tried using aer_opt=-99 to disable aerosol subtraction, but it gave me the following error: "-E- Unable to calculate the uncertainty for aer_opt other than -17 or -18". The reason I need this is that I want to apply IOP models to matchups rather than full images, and my input is already atmospherically-corrected Rrs. Could you please let me know if this is possible, and if so, what the correct approach would be? Thank you very much for your help.

Hi,

If you add "proc_uncertainty=0" to your input.par file, I believe the error should be gone.

Best,
