by LP DAAC - jwilson » Tue Jul 21, 2026 12:21 pm America/New_York

The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) has released the Global Hyperspectral Imaging Spectral-library of Agricultural (GHISA) crops for California’s Central Valley derived from DESIS (GHISACCVDESIS) Version 1 Data Product. The GHISACCVDESIS product provides hyperspectral data on crop classes derived from images acquired by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) Earth Sensing Imaging Spectrometer (DESIS) during the month of August for years 2021 through 2023. GHISACCVDESIS joins two other GHISA collections, GHISACONUS and GHISACASIA.

Learn more about the GHISACCVDESIS data product by clicking the links in the Referenced Datasets section below. The link also provides the Digital Object Identifier for the dataset and several styles for properly citing the data.

Explore and access this new GHISA Version 1 data product using NASA’s Earthdata Search. Please contact LP DAAC User Services with any questions.
