Dataset Release Announcement For TEMPO Auxiliary Data

Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution (TEMPO) Version 01 (V01) Auxiliary data are now available from the NASA Langley Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) via NASA Earthdata Search.

The TEMPO Auxiliary data collection contains the time-independent reference data that the TEMPO Science Data Processing Center (SDPC) pipeline uses to create the TEMPO standard and near-real time data products. These reference data allow users to run the opensource code used in the TEMPO SDPC pipeline. The collection contains reference solar spectra, reference molecular absorption spectra, terrestrial surface reflectance tables, land cover data, digital elevation maps, and tables of hourly mean atmospheric structure and composition for each month of the year. The collection also includes TEMPO instrument calibration parameters.

Documentation describing the data products in this release as well as associated known issues may be found on the TEMPO website. The associated open source SDPC code may be found in the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory’s code repository. For inquiries about this or other TEMPO data releases, please contact larc-dl-asdc-tempo@mail.nasa.gov or post/view questions on the  Earthdata Forum.
