NSIDC Request for New GCMD Keyword

NSIDC would like to request the following keyword be added under the "Instruments" hierarchy:

Short name: MULTIPLE
Long name: MULTIPLE
Description: Data are collected from multiple instruments.

Thank you for your keyword request. The general keyword guidance is that the GCMD keywords should not be generic, represent an established science discipline and practical to a broad range of users and metadata providers, and be applicable to existing or forthcoming Earth science data/metadata (e.g. a new project, instrument, mission, or collaboration). Using 'MULTIPLE' does not seen to be helpful to users, but I am curious of your use cases. Why would you not want to list the Instruments being used in the data? Thanks.

These are collections with too many sensors to list (e.g., crowd-sourced data) or unknown sensors from multiple unnamed satellites. I am coming up with alternative solutions, so you can disregard this request.
