NOAA-21 VIIRS Version 2 Downward Shortwave Radiation and Photosynthetically Active Radiation Data Products Released

The Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) has released Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Version 2 Downward Shortwave Radiation (DSR) and Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) Data Products from the NOAA-21 satellite. Included in the VIIRS DSR products are variables for instantaneous total, instantaneous direct, and instantaneous diffuse DSR at VIIRS overpass, as well as 3-hour DSR, daily mean DSR, and quality flag. VIIRS PAR products variables include instantaneous total, instantaneous direct, and instantaneous diffuse PAR at VIIRS overpass, as well as 3-hour PAR, daily mean PAR, and a quality flag.
