Missing burst in S1 Bursts search

by jessica.warr » Tue Oct 06, 2026 3:56 am America/New_York

When searching on seach.asf.alaska.edu in the Seattle (US) area for Sentinel-1 Burst data (IW) in the time period between 5th June 2026 and 29th June 2026) on path 13, a number of bursts are missing along the swath. This may be the case with other dates but I have not checked. Was there an actual problem with the data for these bursts or should they be available?

Hi Jessica,
Thanks for reporting this. We're looking into the cause of this and think we've been able to reproduce your search. But, to be sure, could you send either a screenshot or a list of all the filters you're using? Or, if you click the down arrow next to the SEARCH button, then select Share Search > Copy Search Link, you can send us the URL so we can recreate your search in a browser.

One thing to check, too, if you're not familiar with this feature, is that below the SEARCH button, you can set the number of results to display on the Vertex map. Make sure this number is set to a value large enough to display all the results of a search.
