I can not see MASKS in my data
Hi
I am a new member in this forum, so please forgive me, if my question is basic.
Actually, I opened ‘A2018015000000.L2_LAC_SST.nc’ in SeaDAS and as this data is level2, then I should be able to see masks (land, ice and ….) but I can not see any thing. Would you please help me?
Please look at attachment.attachment 1

I can not see MASKS in my data
I used below steps for opening my files like (A2018015000000.L2_LAC_SST.nc). I do not know is there something wrong with it? Maybe that why I can not see mask layers in mask manager although every other things are fine.
File > Import > NetCDF-CF
File > Import > NetCDF-CF

Importing a file as some specified format will not invoke special functions such as creating masks, utilizing the time information, etc. Also when you import a MODIS Aqua file the way you are doing, the image will be horizontally and vertically inverted due to the ascending orbit and scan direction of the MODIS instrument.
To utilize these features, the correct way to open the file is via the menu: File > Open
