All PM1ATTNR files missing between 2020229.1000 and 2020246.1600 (inclusive)
PM1EPHND files are all present but there are no PM1ATTNR files for this entire 16 day period. Is this a known issue? Can it be rectified?

There was a data outage on the aqua beginning on Sunday, 16 August 202 (DOY 229) at 10:23 UTC the ground system started receiving corrupted data from the Aqua spacecraft. Unfortunately some of the data was not recoverable.
Also there is an 18-day gap when the spacecraft was in a safe hold until:

OK, I was aware of that, but didn't know positioning data was affected. Are the PM1ATTNR data derived from GBAD? I thought they were based on post-analysis of the actual flight path and hence were preferred to GBAD for non-real-time applications.
Direct broadcast was still available (we were one of the ground stations sending data up to NASA during the outage). Are there any plans to recover some of these position files from the data contributed from direct broadcast stations?

Apparently the ATT data in the GBAD data from EMOS was unusable, so they are trying to recover the data from the APID 957 GBAD data, but they are finding gaps in that data that mirror those in the science data in the direct-broadcast (DB) feeds. Seems that most the DB sites are over land, so we are not expecting to see much ocean data from the recovery effort. The EPH data was not affected by the FMU anomaly.
