Dear NASA,
I would like to use MISR data to study the smoke emitted by the Australian wildfires that occurred in 2019 into early 2020. Can you please help me find this data?”
Thank you for your help,

Re: Australian wildfire visualization
Dear Enthusiastic Graduate Student,
MISR satellite data is available at the new ASDC website here. I would suggest using the MI3MAENF dataset, because that shows the aerosol optical depth on a monthly timescale. Looking at November 2019 data, please go to this page to directly download this dataset. We also have a Jupyter Notebook you can use here to subset the spatial area you are interested in, over the Southeastern part of Australia. Please download the Jupyter Notebook file here, which also includes the user guides.
Thank you for your question, please let us know if you have further questions.
