Re: Methane data
Dear Stanislaus,
Global daily/monthly methane data sets are available from:
Earthdata Search:
https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/searc ... 88590-LARC
https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/searc ... 69510575!4!!
ASDC Data Pool:
ftp://l5ftl01.larc.nasa.gov/TES/TL3CH4D.006
ftp://l5ftl01.larc.nasa.gov/TES/TL3CH4M.005
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Re: Methane data
Stanislaus,
Hello. The Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC) has methane data from the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS). Provided below are links to an AIRS methane data product search, and also to the AIRS methane data in the Giovanni data visualization system.
We also have methane data from Sentinel-5 TROPOMI. At this time, there is not a global (Level 3) TROPOMI methane data set.
https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/datasets?key ... qua%20AIRS
In Giovanni; note that AIRS is an atmospheric sounder, so that it collects data at several different atmospheric pressure levels (indicated by hectoPascals, hPa). The higher values of hPA are nearer to the Earth surface; 925 hPA is the closest to sea level pressure. If you plot the methane data for that pressure level, areas at higher altitude, i.e., lower atmospheric pressure, will not show data. If you use Giovanni, you will be required to select a pressure level.
