For an update, we are still looking as to why users are unable to download data using the provided wget or python code. We will continue to look, but if you are interested, an alternative to Direct Data Download is Earthdata Search.

Hi Maria,

We're still working on this problem. In the meantime, please use NASA Earthdata Search to download the data you need. This link will bring you right to the MOPITT data you were looking for.
