MODIS Aqua CHLa Reprocessing R2018.0 Rolling 32-day composites availability

by louela » Mon Jan 08, 2018 12:27 pm America/New_York

Hi,

I've been trying unsuccessfully to access the rolling 32 day composites for MODIS Aqua CHLa, via https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/l3?per=R32&prd=CHL_chlor_a.nc&sen=A&res=9km&num=24&ctg=Standard&date=25Nov2014 and via direct file access.

Are these still awaiting re-processing to finish? Do we know when they might become available again?

Apologies if this is answered elsewhere already.

With many thanks
Louise

Louise,
The MODIS-Aqua reprocessing is nearly complete.  The L2 products are done as well a number of the L3 products.  However, the longer temporal (and less "straight forward" - e.g. rolling 32 day) binning processes are not quite complete, but should be later this week.

Regards,
Sean

The R32 reprocessing completed last evening (8-Jan-2018). You should now be able to download the products
Let us know if they are not accessible.

Thanks both towens and SeanBailey. I've now successfully accessed the dataset.
