atmospheric correction algorithms for level 2 products for sensors

by hxczjh123 » Mon Jun 11, 2018 7:20 am America/New_York

Hello everyone,

1. I have downloaded L2 products?including Rrs?. But what's the atmospheric correction algorithms used in SeaDAS to generate L2 products for MODIS/Aqua?GOCI?VIIRS?

2. Why GOCI do not have data between Aug.15,2017 to Aug.26,2017 in https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/?
Are there any way to download data?

Thank you for your help!

Dear Sean,
Thank you for your help!
To my understand, L2 products downloaded from oceancolor  use standard  atmospheric correction(NIR method). Is it right?

I have another question:
I have downloaded several days of MODIS/Aqua L1B products , and then I'd like to use l2gen to generate L2 products(do atmospheric correcion) ,so can I do atmospheric correction  for all L1B products according to the following steps:
   click these bottoms:   ocssw----multilevel_processor----Main menu(infile all L1B products)------click ' l2gen' and choose the atmospheric correction products which I want-------save------run.

Is it right?
