Hello,

No connection to oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov was possible between yersterday 18hUTC and today 13hUTC. It works fine now. But it looked like our IP address was banned (xx.xxx.xx.xx). We checked on our side that our scripts did not make erroneous or wild wget requests (we have been banned in the past for that reason).
I would thus know if you have an explanation for this connection loss.

Jacques, we're checking on this. A temporary block went in place, and was cleared this morning. We haven't identified what triggered the block as yet.

Jacques, the trigger for the block was frequent calls to the file_search utility, and the search generated errors. Luckily, this type of block is reset the next day.
