Re: SeaDAS 8.1.0 -- MODIS GEO file
Amita,
It looks like modis_GEO is not happy with A2021118173500.L1A_LAC.x.hdf, can you change the file name to A2021118173500.L1A_LAC and do modis_GEO on it?
Here is a past post for your reference: https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/forum/ ... l?tid=7736
Thanks,
Bing

Re: SeaDAS 8.1.0 -- MODIS GEO file
Hello,
Thank you for the suggestion but I don't think this is a python issue alone!
Here (please see below) is what I get for all Aqua-MODIS images after day 334 for 2020 and all 2021 MODIS images I try to process! FYI - I have subsetted all MODIS images to the Chesapeake Bay region.
Creating MODIS geolocation file...
geogen_modis returned with exit status: 0
Percent valid data (0.00) is less than threshold (95.00)
Validation test returned with error code: 1
ERROR: MODIS geolocation processing failed.
Thanks.
Amita

Re: SeaDAS 8.1.0 -- MODIS GEO file
Hi,
I renamed but that did not work either!
As I mentioned in my earlier message, this starts from 2020 day 335 and continues for all days!
Thanks.
