What is a .crdownload file type?
Why is my downloaded file not opening. It shows "Unconfirmed ..... .crdownload"
If you are using the Chrome browser, files are listed as "unconfirmed" while the they are downloading. Other browsers may do a similar notification. Very large files take additional time to download. Please check chrome://downloads/ in your browser to see the progress of your download.
An example is this file over 2GB. It initially shows as unconfirmed When viewed within chrome://downloads/ it is clear that the download is in process. When the download completes, it will then show normally.
