Thank you for your patience with these questions. We went through all these steps already -- and again (please see the attached). But still the same error with the requests module occurs!
Is there anything else we can try?

Can you do SeaDAS-OCSSW -> SeaDAS/System Info? I wonder if SeaDAS is pointing to a different python3.

Hello Bing,
Yes, indeed it looks like it is not using anaconda3 python where requests module is installed! Can you please guide us in how to change that? FYI: the default python is anaconda3!
We are planning a training next month (from NASA-ARSET) where we will be asking 100s of participants to install and use SeaDAS 8.1.0/OCSSSW! Since we are having so much trouble installing OCCSW on Macs and Windows machines we want to make sure we provide adequate instruction to the participants to avoid these problems.
We will of course acknowledge OC Forum and all of you who are helping us.
