New Platform and Instrument keywords

We recently received a new dataset at the GES DISC that includes data from the following platform and instruments that are not in the GCMD database.

Platforms:

KOMPSAT-5 (Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-5) / Arirang-5

Hi Thomas and James, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, I did not see the initial GCMD Keyword Forum request on Feb 22. Normally I receive an email reminding me that there is a new request. I checked my Outlook filter folder and I didn’t receive that email. Thomas emailed me directly the request for Instrument: IGOR and Platform: KOMSAT-5 on Feb 18. I added IGOR to the GCMD keywords on Feb 22 (Ticket CMRSCI-4177) and created a ticket for KOMPSAT-5 (CMRSCI-4178). Platform keywords are on hold until March 16 while we prepare the CMR to support the new Platform Facet Search. Please see https://wiki.earthdata.nasa.gov/pages/v ... =238585194 for details on the new Platform Search. The request for Platform: PAZ SAR I was not aware as I did not see the Forum request. I added the request for Platform: PAZ SAR to ticket CMRSCI-4178 to be published on March 16. Apiologies for the mix-up.
