Dataset time range question (SEA_SURFACE_HEIGHT_ALT_GRIDS_L4_2SATS_5DAY_6THDEG_V_JPL1812)

Hi,

I have a quick question on a PODAAC dataset: I am using the dataset here: https://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/dataset/SEA_SURFACE_HEIGHT_ALT_GRIDS_L4_2SATS_5DAY_6THDEG_V_JPL1812?ids=&values=&search=sea%20surface%20height&provider=POCLOUD

It says that it is delayed by 3 months, but when I checked the EarthData Search to see what the actual most recent date is, it is Jan 24th, 2019, which I now see is also listed under the "granule time span" on the dataset page. So, is this dataset actively being updated or will it stay historical?

Thank you,
Kristen

Hello,

Thank you for your question. PODAAC is not active on the Earthdata Forum. Instead, you can reach their user support team by emailing: podaac@podaac.jpl.nasa.gov
