by ORNL - mthornton » Mon Apr 11, 2022 3:41 pm America/New_York

All Daymet Version 4 https://daymet.ornl.gov/ collections have been been updated to include calendar year 2021.

Daymet provides continuous gridded estimates of daily weather by interpolating and extrapolating ground-based observations through statistical modeling techniques. Daymet surface weather variables include daily minimum and maximum temperature, precipitation, vapor pressure, shortwave radiation, snow water equivalent, and day length at a 1 km x 1 km spatial resolution for continental North America and Hawaii from 1980 (Puerto Rico starting from 1950) through the end of the most recent calendar year.

The Daymet Project Get Data page https://daymet.ornl.gov/getdata provides information on access methods. Daymet Version 4 collections are also available in Earthdata Cloud . Users Working in the US-West-2 region of Amazon Web Services (AWS) can use Direct S3 Access.

Questions about the Daymet dataset or access to files can be posted to this Earthdata Forum.
