What OS are you using, how did you install l2gen and could you post the actual command line you are trying to execute.

Ubuntu20 under VMWare.

It's very vary Strange. I just update my OCSSW with selecting the "Clean install", and then I did it.

Thank you a lot for your reply!

I saw an error similar to your report:
-E- Invalid argument "avw_coef"
avw_coef (string) (current=[-1.8010144475E+05,1.7860303344E+03,-7.0534822696E+00,1.3886726297E-02,-1.3619239236E-05,5.3223151318E-09]) (source=$OCSSWROOT/ocssw/share/modis/msl12_defaults.par)
using Debian unstable, which I run specifically so I can check for issues that would affect my processing systems before they can propagate to release versions of Debian and Ubuntu, but the problem was gone after I installed tag 2022.0, so seems strange to me as well. I also test on Fedora linux and did not see the issue there.

This error will happen if you have older binaries and newer ocssw/share data files. The avw_coef parameter is a newish param. I am pretty sure this error will not happen if the binaries and share tree are from the same tag.
