The ORNL DAAC recently added a new learning resource to its suite of GEDI tutorials;
Accessing GEDI L4A Dataset with NASA OPeNDAP in the Cloud.
This Notebook demonstrates how to directly access and subset the Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) L4A Footprint Level Aboveground Biomass Density (AGBD) dataset available from NASA OPeNDAP Hyrax. OPeNDAP in the Cloud allows direct access to selected variables within spatial-temporal bounds without needing to download whole data files.
