Good afternoon -
Last year, we requested a new Instrument keyword for the TROPICS mission. After gathering more information from the science team, we request that it be modified.
Original Request:
TMWS > TROPICS Microwave Spectrometer
New Request:
TMS > TROPICS Millimeter-wave Sounder
TROPICS User Guide for reference: https://docserver.gesdisc.eosdis.nasa.gov/public/project/TROPICS/TROPICS.UserGuide.pdf
Thanks!

Re: GES DISC Instrument Keyword Change
@cloeser
I am reviewing your keyword request now and I can make that change but I wanted to confirm if the keyword hierarchy is still appropriate or if a change is needed there as well. Currently it is:
Instruments > Earth Remote Sensing Instruments > Passive Remote Sensing > Spectrometers_Radiometers > Spectrometers
Please let me know. Thanks.

Re: GES DISC Instrument Keyword Change
We think this would be best:
Instruments > Earth Remote Sensing Instruments > Passive Remote Sensing > Spectrometers/Radiometers > Radiometers
Thank you!
Instruments > Earth Remote Sensing Instruments > Passive Remote Sensing > Spectrometers/Radiometers > Radiometers
Thank you!
