Hello Sean,

Thank you for your attention and reply. Indeed, I could generate VIIRS GEO files using the "geolocate_viirs" tool under OCSSW in Seadas. However, when I converted VIIRS L1A data with that GEO files to L1C data, the converted L1C data were different from that converted from the L1A and GEO data downloaded directly from the L1 & 2 browser. So I want to download L1A and GEO data directly from the L1 & 2 browser. However, when I ordered data from the browser, the downloaded data only included L1A but no GEO data. For this issue, Tommy provided me one method, but it did not work for me.

I ordered both L1 & 2 data from the L1 & 2 browser and downloaded both L1 & 2 data from URLs in the http_manifest. But there was no GEO data. Do you know how to download GEO data when ordering data from the browser?

Thank you.
Elaine.

Hello Tommy,

I would like to inform you that I could download VIIRS GEO files by replacing "L1A" by "GEO-M" in the URLs.
Thank you for your help.

Yours sincerely,
Elaine.

OK - I'm glad that worked out for you.

I think it is easier to use your first approach.
