I am interested in downloading data on Aerosol Optical Depth and some other parameters from MODIS/Terra+Aqua Land Aerosol Optical Depth Daily L2G Global 1 km SIN Grid over Mexico from the last 5-10 years, but only see data available from 2000-2005 from the direct download (https://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/MOTA/MCD19A2.061/) or EarthData search, when the LP DAAC says it should cover data since 2000-present . It also appears that only a fraction of the map has data available when it supposedly is global.

The LP DAAC webpage for MCD19A2 v061 has this warning: "The MAIAC data products have been released with the caveat that the reprocessing for the full mission is expected to continue through early 2023."
What does this mean? I also saw from another post that MODIS Verison 6 might not be continued by late 2022 (not sure if this applied to MAIAC/MCD19's), so shouldn't Version 6.1 be available either way?

Hi @kaijz The MCD19A2 v061 data product is currently undergoing historical processing. The complete record should be available by late 2022 or early 2023. If the full record of the Version v061 data product is not available by the end of the 2022 the forward processing of v006 will continue until those data are available.

It seems that MCD19A2 AOD product can no longer be found in EARTHDATASEARCH. Can I know why?
