Dear sir/madam,
I am trying to download MODIS Aqua L2 3km/10km data from https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/search/order/1/ but says "time out". May I know the reason or am I blocked from downloading ?

We are aware of and understand the problem (504 Gateway Time-out error) users are facing these days in downloading data. Our team is working on a solution, and hope to have a release out in the next week or so. In the meantime, if you get 504 error try again after a short pause or at a different time.

There are no issues with data download. All servers are working normally.

For an accurate and timely response, it would be a good idea to start a new thread with proper subject line!
The most efficient method is to search and order AOD data using LAADS "Find Data" interface at: https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/search/order/1/MYD04_L2--61
You can use LAADS post processing tool to extract the needed Scientific Data Sets (SDS). The post processing option is available at the last step (REVIEW & ORDER) of the ordering process. If this is the first time you are using post processing tool, you can consult “How to Use LAADS DAAC Post-Processing Tools” tutorial available at:
