I can't access the LAADS DAAC site to download MODIS data

Dear sir/madam,
I am trying to download MCD43C4 data from https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/search/, but it says "504 Gateway Time-out". May I know the reason？

We are aware of and understand the problem (504 Gateway Time-out error) users are facing these days in downloading data. Our team is working on a solution, and hope to have a release out in the next week or so. In the meantime, if you get 504 error try again after a short pause or at a different time.
