hello everyone! I have been testing the MOD10A1 data product recently, and found that according to the official indicators( http://dx.doi.org/10.5067/MODIS/MOD10A1.006 )The result diagram is inconsistent with the actual situation. For example, the official NDSI snow coverage index is 0-100, but according to my practice, 0 is land and 11-100 is snow. Can you give us your guidance and suggestions?
Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out. NDSI_Snow_Cover is the the snow cover map with cloud and other masks overlaid. The NDSI value is scaled to the 0 - 100 range and was converted to byte from float datatype. All NDSI <= 0 are set to 0. Any pixel failing one or more of the data screens is set to 0 or other non-snow value. Values ranging from 0-100 represent a confidence that there is snow in that pixel.
