Terra MODIS processing disruption

Hi, I was just reading about the disruption at https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/news/terra-modis-processing-on-hold-as-of-december-1-2022/ and https://landweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/QA_WWW/displayCase.cgi?esdt=MOD&caseNum=PM_MOD_22335&caseLocation=cases_data&type=C61&_ga=2.161363518.2030298959.1670862356-1389925934.1660170463

Is there any additional information about the failure? Is it expected to be able to be resolved, or is that still an unknown at this point?
