by ramzan243 » Tue Dec 13, 2022 12:53 pm America/New_York

Hello

I have to download the data from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) to proxy for particulate matter for specific latitude and longitude points.

Please let me know the link from where I can download the data.

Thanks

Dear Ramzan:
You can search and order these products from LAADS Find Data interface at:
https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/search/
The product information is available at:
https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/missions-and-measurements/science-domain/aerosol/
or
https://modis-atmosphere.gsfc.nasa.gov/products/aerosol

If this is the first time you are ordering data from LAADS DAAC, you can find tutorial/information on how to Search and Order Data with the LAADS “Find Data” interface at:
https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/learn/how-to-search-and-order-data-with-the-laads-find-data-interface/

Before you can download data, you'll need to create a NASA Earthdata account. This will allow you to access and download data from NASA Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) archives. I also advise you to https://advanced.name/ buy proxies and try to log in from different locations. Enter your specific latitude and longitude points in the search bar. You can refine your search by specifying the time range and other parameters. Once you've found the MODIS AOD data for your desired location and time period, you can add it to your cart and proceed to order the data. After your order is processed, you can download the data from the Earthdata website.
