Problems with MacOS Ventura 13.0.1

Hello everyone,

We are experiencing some problems using SeaDAS with MacOS Ventura 13.0.1. Does anybody know why this is so? Does anybody had/having the same problem and what did you do to solve it?

We don't have Mac OS Ventura, so we can't test SeaDAS on it. It's been reported on this forum that SeaDAS might have issues with Ventura

I have also not been able to run SeaDAS since I installed the MacOS Ventura 13.1 update. I was not able to run SeaDAS 8.2 which is why I installed the latest version of SeaDAS 8.3.0 [and Python].

No, it doesn’t. I can’t get SeaDAS (either version) to run properly since I’ve updated my MacOS.

For what it’s worth, I’ll add another voice to the users experiencing the problems described when running SeaDAS 8.3 on MacOS Ventura. It’s especially disappointing as we were gearing up to use it again to teach a graduate course in Satellite Oceanography.

ANY timetable information would be greatly appreciated.

Another voice here advocating for SeaDAS to work on MacOS Ventura. Do you have an estimate for when it will be functional? Thank you for working on the problem.
