GEDI V2 Above Ground Biomass Density Available for September and October 2022

by ORNL - mthornton » Fri Mar 10, 2023 5:17 pm America/New_York

The Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) Level 4A Footprint Level Aboveground Biomass Density, Version 2.1 data are now available for September 1 through October 25, 2022 (GEDI mission weeks 195 through 202) from the ORNL DAAC. The GEDI L4A data provides predictions of the aboveground biomass density (AGBD; in Mg/ha) and estimates of the uncertainty within each sampled geolocated laser footprint.

The data is available through various NASA Earthdata tools and services, including Earthdata Cloud, OpeNDAP, and Harmony.

Tutorials and a NASA Earthdata Webinar describe access to GEDI data at the ORNL DAAC.
