Hi @khorramim, The "white patches" in the gridded GEDI products, such as GEDI L3 canopy height metrics and GEDI L4B aboveground biomass density, are due to there being no good quality GEDI shots within the 1km x 1km grid. As GEDI collects more shots, these grids with no GEDI shots will be fewer and fewer. However, due to the nature of the ISS orbit, the number of valid shots in each grid may vary - some grids likely won't have any coverage, while others will have high shot density. GEDI is currently offline temporarily and will be back in operation in 2024.

Hi rupeshornl ,thank you so much.
"I have many catchments, and in most of them, there are many white patches. Are there other products that I can use in addition to GEDI data to address this issue?"

Hi @khorramim , ICESat-2 products, such as ATL03/ATL08 , might be suitable for canopy heights. Other data products may fit your requirements: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search?q=canopy%20height
