Finding datasets on Earthdata Cloud (OPeNDAP)

by benedettobarone » Mon May 08, 2023 6:20 pm America/New_York

I have been using a script to download sea surface temperature data using the podaac-opendap service, which is now discontinued.

I would like to transition to the new Earthdata Cloud opendap service, but I can not understand how to find the url to the dataset that I am interested in. For example, I was using the Geo Polar Blended Nighttime SST product (OSPO). I found the data product on https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/, but I could not find a link to the OPeNDAP url. Is there a service to search for the new opendap urls?

There are a couple ways to find the OPeNDAP URLs now, see PO.DAAC's OPeNDAP in the Cloud page: https://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/OPeNDAP-in-the-Cloud
