SeaDAS 8.3.9 MacOS version bugs

It seems your mac knows where your python3 is.

How did you open SeaDAS? Did you click the SeaDAS icon in Finders Window?

Could you please try to open SeaDAS by doing the following:

In the same terminal that returns
"/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.11/bin/python3"

to

Code: Select all

which python3

do

Code: Select all

cd /Users/josbel/Applications/SeaDas/bin/
open seadas

And then try "install/update SeaDAS Processors again".

Check log for more details.

BTW, the messages.pdf is corrupted. Could you please copy and paste the content of messages.log here, or upload messages.pdf again?

Did you actually open SeaDAS from a terminal? And in that terminal "which python3" returns - /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.11/bin/python3?

If that's the case, you might need to make a soft symlink
ln -s /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.11/bin/python3 /usr/local/bin/python3

and then add /usr/local/bin to your PATH in .bashrc or .bash_profile

It seems that setting the path worked, and I could install the processors. System Information looks like now like this:
