MODIS aqua Nighttime 4 micrometer images

by arnabp893 » Mon Jul 31, 2023 5:07 pm America/New_York

Hello all,
I am trying to download MODIS aqua Level 2 Nighttime 4 micrometer images to find relationship with Chlorophyll images (downloaded from https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/browse.pl?sen=amod). The URL has SST data but it is 11 micrometer and the SST4 is not showing the availability.
I have found SST data that I need from this website url=https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search but most of them are not matching with the chlorophyll data swath.
Before downloading this SST data I just wanna know if there is any other website available for the Nighttime SST data.

Aqua MODIS 4 µm SST (SST4) data are only collected when the sensor is in nighttime mode and Chl_a is only collected when the sensor is in daytime. To show SST4 on the L1/2 browser you need to check the Night checkbox and then select SST4 on the top left menu.

Yes, navigating with the 'Back' arrow is problematic.
They really should open the result in a new tab to preserve your search selections.
That page is being currently being redesigned, I'll mention this to the developers.
