Fine mode fraction aerosol over ocean in MODIS SDS
Hello,
I am searching for the SDS related to fine mode fraction (FMF) aerosol over ocean in the latest available MODIS collection 6.1 datasets.
Please help me to find the correct SDS. Thanks!

But i am again confused with the specification. Do you consider these two SDS for fine mode information?

In MODIS collection 6.1 datasets (e.g. MOD04_L2), there are four variables relevant to fine model:
1. Optical_Depth_Ratio_Small_Ocean_0.55micron: is the fraction of AOT (at 0.55 micron) contributed by fine mode for average solution.
2. Optical_Depth_Small_Average_Ocean: is the retrieved optical thickness for fine mode (average solution) for 0.47, 0.55, 0.66, 0.86, 1.24, 1.63, 2.13um)
3. Optical_Depth_Small_Best_Ocean: is the retrieved optical thickness for fine mode (best solution for 0.47, 0.55, 0.66, 0.86, 1.24, 1.63, 2.13um)
4. Solution_Index_Ocean_Small: is the index identifying fine mode from Look Ip Table for “best” solution. Solution number index (1 through 4) for small particles. Indices of ocean models 1 through 4 correspond to accumulation (small) mode models with effective radii 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25 µm, respectively.
