Hello,
I need all sky direct radiation at the surface. But, I could not find this parameter in the MERRA-2 radiation files (e.g., MERRA2_400.tavg1_2d_rad_Nx.20180728.SUB.nc).

Can anyone tell me how to obtain this parameter.

The best that we can do is PARDR+NIRDR to get direct radiation that is missing
a part in the UV, the model developer I asked says that this should be ~96% of
the direct SW radiation

PARDR is in tavg1_2d_lfo_Nx (M2T1NXLFO): Land Surface Forcings
NIRDR is in tavg1_2d_flx_Nx (M2T1NXFLX): Surface Flux Diagnostics
